Jesus Is Condemned To Death
We adore You, O Christ, and we bless You.
Because by Your Holy Cross You have redeemed the world.
Jesus, after having been blasphemed, mocked, and scourged, is dragged before
Pilate and unjustly condemned to die with disgrace on the Cross.
My loving Jesus, it was my sins, not Pilate, that condemned You to die.
Grant that I may detest them with all my heart, and by the merits of this
sorrowful journey obtain Your mercy and pardon to assist my soul on its
journey towards eternity.
My beloved Jesus, I love You above all things. I am truly sorry for having
offended You, and I repent with my whole heart. May I never offend You
again. Grant that I may never cease to love You, and do with me as You
will.
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy
will be done, on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily
bread, and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass
against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
Hail, Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed are you among
women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of
God, pray for us sinners, now and at the hour of our death. Amen.
Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in
the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen.
